Karlie Kloss Shares Fitness Tips in ‘Women’s Health’ Magazine: ‘There’s Nothing More Gratifying Than a Good Sweat’ – Entertainment Tonight

For Karlie Kloss, staying runway ready is a combination of diet and exercise.

The 24-year-old model covers the October issue of Women’s Health and inside the mag, Kloss talks fitness tips, being a student at NYU, and how she really feels about fashion week.

“I’m pretty healthy most of the time,” Kloss says of her diet. “I eat a lot of fish, a lot of vegetables, I really love to cook with really clean and fresh ingredients.”

Besides clean eating, the St. Louis native sticks to a workout routine that includes running, but when she wants to tone up quickly, dance is the go-to option.

“I love to dance…to kind of just move,” reveals Kloss. “There’s nothing more gratifying than a good sweat.”

Working out isn’t just about staying physically fit, “breaking a good sweat” is how she mentally preps for the runway, especially when she’s feeling anxious or nervous.

“It’s the best therapy,” adds Kloss.

Now that New York Fashion Week is in the full swing, Kloss couldn’t be more “excited” to make the rounds and reunite with her fashion friends.

“It’s like this giant family reunion,” she explains. “I really look forward to it, but I also get nervous. It’s funny. No matter how many times I’ve walked the runway shows I always sort of get that adrenaline leading up to it.”

When she’s not booking modeling gigs, or hanging out with her bestie, Taylor Swift, Kloss is just another college student at New York University.

“Starting school at NYU this past fall was totally a natural next step for me,” she says. “Not because I’m done modeling – I’m [24] and hope to be doing this job for as long as people will keep hiring me, but I wanted to keep growing and learning and challenging myself in different ways, and I hope to be a student for the rest of my life.”

As for being a celeb on campus, Kloss doesn’t have trouble blending in with other students, even if she gets mistaken for a professor.

“I’ve made some friends on campus,” she says. “It’s funny… some students don’t know if I’m a teacher or if I’m a student. Some people recognize me, most people don’t. It’s New York, everybody’s super anonymous. You kinda just walk down the street and live your life.”
