Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker finished a recent gig against doctor’s orders, claiming he told medical officials: “I’m playing till I either pass out, throw up or die.”

Barker was performing as part of his #GiveTheDrummerSome residency at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas on Saturday night (January 2) when he came down with a fever and began to feel nauseous. However, this didn’t stop him finishing the gig.

Explaining what happened at the show, Barker wrote the following message on

2016 is set to be a busy year for Barker with a new Blink-182 album and solo material on the way.

Barker revealed the full list of what he is working on in December 9. He shared a picture of himself drumming with Antemasque, the new band formed by At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta’s Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, and began chatting to fans in the comment section.

Asked what his plans for 2016 were, he replied saying a new Blink-182 album was due in addition to albums with Antemasque, two EPs with Transplants and a solo album.

Barker previously told NME that the band have recorded five new songs with Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, including one titled ‘Punk Rock Cliché’.

Skiba joined the group earlier this year after frontman Tom DeLonge parted ways with the band. Mark Hoppus and bandmate Barker announced their split when the singer allegedly refused to enter the studio and record a new album with them.
