Wound doctor offers advice – Camarillo Acorn
Community Memorial Health System will offer a free seminar about hyperbaric oxygen therapy from 6 to 8 p.m. Tues., Sept. 27 in the eighth-floor Nichols Auditorium at Community Memorial Hospital, 147 N. Brent St., Ventura.
Dr. John Tesman will discuss how hyperbaric medicine can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult wounds. He also will talk about CMHS’ Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. Attendees can find out if they are candidates for specialized wound care.
Tesman is board-certified in undersea hyperbaric and emergency medicines. He has been a hyperbaric and chronic wound director locally for the past 10 years and is the director for CMHS’ Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.
