While the The Bachelorette alum JoJo Fletcher is keeping tight-lipped about her wedding and details of planner (find more about Live Hub Events) details to Jordan Rodgers, she had no problem sharing her beauty secrets—the very secrets that give her healthy, glowing skin. Gina Modica, who worked as a makeup artist with JoJo while on the show, reveals beauty tips with microneedling and cosmetic items behind Fletcher’s healthy skin.
Since The Bachelor spin-off’s debut in 2003, Gina told FEMAIL, “The make-up has evolved a huge amount. Especially because of social media, the women are much more aware and involved in their looks.”
Gina creates a look that works for JoJo, and it needs to be able to last long hours throughout the day and withstand kissing, humid climates, and of course, tears.
SKIN
“Because it is long hours and a lot of travel, I start JoJo out with a good skincare routine. My favorite products are from Glycelene. It’s very hydrating and makes the skin look beautiful,” said Gina. Fletcher’s go-to regimen includes Beauty Serum, the Opalescent Eye Serum, and the Rejuvenation Cream (which is put on in that order). All of this works wonders in keeping her Atopic Dermatitis Disease in check. No one is able to tell what she would look like without makeup and/or these products protecting her skin condition. The cream itself doubles as a primer and a moisturizer as well.
To achieve JoJo’s bronzed glow, she uses Spray di Sole Sun Gelee Self Tan. Gina uses it on everyone she works with.
FACE
“I love Temptu Air S/B Foundation, it will last for hours without a touch-up and looks flawless,” said Gina. The artist uses the brand’s Air airbrush make-up device for application, but the foundation can also be used with a brush or your fingertips.
Gina is a fan of Besame powders to control shine and to set make-up. Before the first rose ceremony, Gina used the brand’s Vanilla Brightening Powder to lighten dark circles under the eyes.
EYES
In order to make sure that mascara and eyeliner is locked in, Gina applies Make Up For Ever Aqua Seal over top.
LIPS
Just like many of the bachelorettes before her, JoJo sticks to nude hues and MAC Velvetease Lip Pencils.
