A mother-of-two who went from heavily pregnant to svelte within two months has posted incredible pictures of her transformation.

Fitness guru Tammy Hembrow, from Queensland, shared the photos with her four million Instagram followers as she paid homage to the ‘incredible power’ of the human body.

The photos show how she turned her baby bump into a taut tummy with a dedicated regime of diet and exercise.

Ms Hembrow shared the photos to show other pregnant women that it is possible to regain their pre-baby bodies with a bit of hard work.

‘It’s truly incredible what the human body can do,’ she wrote underneath a photo posted two months after birth.

‘It’s so important to love yourself and your body at every stage in your life.

‘Every body is different and you should never compare yourself to others.

‘But if you give your body the love, exercise, and nutrition it deserves, you will reap the rewards.’

A striking before and after photo illustrated how the Queensland-based fitness coach began toning up after birth when she was not allowed to exercise.

The photos show how she slowly regained muscle tone in her tummy and legs through a slight change in diet.

‘The before photos were taken when I first got home from hospital a few days after the birth and the after photos were taken just over a week ago at three weeks postpartum,’ she explained.

‘I’m not allowed to workout yet but I’ve been eating clean and I trained throughout my entire pregnancy except for the last couple of weeks as I had some complications.’

Although many women give up hope of regaining their pre-baby bodies, Ms Hembrow planned to get into better shape than ever.

‘I’ve lost a lot of muscle but I’m pretty happy with my postpartum body so far,’ she added.

‘So many women think you can’t get your body back after pregnancy but this just isn’t true.

‘I can’t wait to start training again in a few weeks and get my body into the best shape it’s ever been in.’ 

Ms Hembrow is a lifestyle guru who specialises in diet and workout plans.
