Natural “NyQuil” Tea Recipe With Ayesha Curry (VIDEO) – Allure Magazine
Stephen Curry may slay on the basketball court, but his wife, Ayesha Curry, slays in the kitchen—especially when it comes to making what she calls her natural “NyQuil” tea (which also happens to be delicious.) Curry, author of the new cookbook, The Seasoned Life, says the tea will put you “right to sleep.” That’s a big promise, right?
The combination of ingredients that Curry uses has a naturally relaxing effect. According to the author, both ginger and turmeric, spices found in her tea, have anti-inflammatory effects on the body to help soothe and calm your nervous system—as well as aid in any nighttime digestion. The full-fat coconut milk acts as a nutritious base, high in monounsaturated—a.k.a. the good kind of—fat. It also froths up really nicely, making that Starbucks PSL from earlier this weekend look a little weak in comparison.
Because this is only one of many healthy DIY recipes Curry features in The Seasoned Life (we’ve also snagged her recipe for the perfect at-home chest rub), we recommend you head out ASAP and pick up a copy so you can live your best life. Or, at the very least, watch the video above to learn how to make your own natural remedy.
