Kristen Stewart certainly has a look all her own, and in a recent interview with New York magazine’s The Cut, the actress opens up on all things beauty.

As the face of Balenciaga’s intoxicating Rosabotanica fragrance, it’s no surprise that she’s picked up some hair and makeup tips along the way.

After all, the star regularly shows up on the red carpet looking edgy and slightly undone, adding a mysterious allure to her Hollywood image.

As for her day-to-day routine, Stewart opens up on her fuss-free habits.

“I’m always striving to get to the point where I look like I’ve woken up in the last hour. You know that look you get when you’re fresh-faced? You’re a little puffy but looking really good? That’s what I like,” she explained.

Well, that makes sense. Something else the Twilight star likes? Minimal effort.

“I just like it when people look like they’re not trying. And the only way to do that is by not trying,” she emphasizes during the interview.

Curious what Kristen’s best beauty tip it? It’s simple—hydrate!

“I drink a lot of water. Like, if you don’t drink water, you look awful.”

And finally, when it comes to her preferred braided cornrow hairstyle as of late, Stewart has a perfectly practical explanation for the look.

“It’s comfortable and keeps my hair out of my face. And I liked the way it looked. But you need to re-do it once a week, or else it will start to look gross.”

Spoken like a true beauty aficionado!
