A new study shows that drinking a few cups of coffee might just reduce the risk of having type-2 diabetes.

The risk can be reduced by 10% for those people who drank an extra cup of coffee and a half over a 4-year period” according to KHOU

This link is not relatively new according to CNN. Yet this recent study focused on the change of coffee consumption. It can increase or decrease as time goes by.

The people who increased the intake to more than a single cup each day showed an 11% lower likelihood to have type-2 diabetes as opposed to those whose intake was held steady.

The consumption of less coffee was associated with a 17% increased to acquire type-2 diabetes. Hence, coffee drinkers can rejoice.

The new study denotes that risk of having type-2 diabetes can also be decreased by way of tea consumption. This is by drinking 3-4 cups of tea each day can bring an 8% reduction to have the disease.
