After a successful year as one of the world’s most in demand models, Gigi Hadid is showing no signs of slowing down for 2016.

Having walked in the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris on Tuesday, Hadid had another exciting announcement this week.

Revealing she is the face of Maybelline’s latest product, The Falsies Push Up Mascara, with Brit model Jourdan Dunn, the 20-year-old spoke to the brand to give her best beauty advice.

When you’re wearing a really dramatic lash look, do you feel like you carry yourself differently? How does it change your attitude?

I always have more confidence when I know my lashes look good.

Why are lashes such a key part of creating a sexy make-up look?

They make your eyes look bigger and brighter, which makes the rest of your make-up look stand out.

Do you remember the first time you ever wore mascara?

The first time I wore mascara was probably when I was little and playing in my mum’s make-up drawer.

When you only have five minutes to do your make-up for an event, what is your go-to look?

I put on mascara and a bit of bronzer.

Have you got any tips for applying mascara or applying it on the go?

Make sure you cover the roots well and then follow through to the tip. In the back of a cab, it’s best to do the roots at a red light and finish up the ends once the car starts moving again.
