If you look at this photo, you’re breaking one of the sacred rules of the Lost Delta of India. Mara is a horrendous Deity, who a dark god who baits the local inhabitants with gifts of fortune, beauty, or futuresight. However, if you look into his eyes – he will doom you to serve in his ancient temple dungeon for all eternity. Many have perished there by starvation, exhaustion, or… as snake food. So don’t look!

This photo was not this colorful, or this clear. It was a 15 layer edit in Photoshop that took an exorbitant amount of time, but I think the payoff is huge. I did everything to this photo: curves, color correction, dodge and burn, color replacement, sharpening, despeckling… you name it I did it!
