Great video! We truly don’t put enough trust into our seasons, but it is
the best way to buy and the best way to cook. Thanks!

@IzzyXgallY The best seeds really depend on your area. Try to hook up with
a local gardener. Most are very helpful and usually have more seeds and
plants than they can use. I didn’t have someone like that so I ordered the
“Southern Package” from RareSeeds. Now I’m playing with several varieties
of tomatoes. I can’t believe the stuff I’ve been missing out on. Cherokee
Purples are my favorites this year so they’ll get planted again. Won’t
bother with Romas next year. Just do it.☺

The sad part about local produce is the shop owner was exactly right.
Anywhere you live, you can find a local grower. I live in Phoenix, the
middle of the desert. We have a farm here open a few months per year that
has amazing tomatoes. Every year, I look forward to when they are in
season. It is the only good thing about summers here. And the Phoenix
Valley market is full of a great selection of produce. I wish we would rely
less on imported products too. Thanks for the great video, chef.
