Jennifer Aniston’s diet plan is in fact a yearlong commitment.

How does Jennifer Aniston look so young, though? According to an article from E!, Aniston says to eat as many organic fruits and vegetables as you can, keep your sugar intake low, drink a lot of water, and get proper rest. Sounds pretty simple, and it seems to be working for Aniston. Some of the things said to be found in her refrigerator include Tupperware with sliced raw veggies, lean grilled chicken, hard-boiled eggs, and lettuce.

Some describe her as a “no-frills foodie” and it’s definitely an accurate description, because to lose weight, Aniston sticks to an eating routine that would make sense for average. When preparing for a red-carpet event, she cuts back on carbs and will often make healthy alternative recipes for herself and husband Justin Theroux, such as pasta carbonara or lasagna. For example, she substitutes regular bacon with turkey bacon in the carbonara, and for the lasagna, instead of using sheets of pasta, Aniston uses veggies such as zucchini and eggplant as a base and add cheese between the layers; a veggie lasagna.

Aniston usually drinks some warm water with lemon first thing in the morning to alkalize her body and prep her tummy for optimal digestion. For breakfast, she has coffee, a protein shake, and eggs with avocado and coconut oil on a slice of whole-wheat toast. Lunch might be an ahi tuna and cucumber salad with lentils and olive oil. For a snack, she usually eats a stick of cheese or some soup. Dinners are also healthy meals.

Jennifer Aniston’s workout routine typically involves barre fitness methods and 20 to 30 minutes of cardio every day. Barre classes begin with a warm-up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. These exercises help to sculpt the lower body and abs, as well as for flexibility training. She has also done a lot of yoga, usually 40-minute classes that she described as intense. She’s worked out with a personal trainer and done spin classes, plus cardio using treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. Aniston also does strength training, and recommends interval training.

So, that’s her fitness regimen, but what are Jennifer Aniston’s anti-aging secrets?

  • Vaseline: Aniston loves to put Vaseline on at night time, especially around her eyes to help keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay.
  • Mini-facial: Aniston steams her face for 10 minutes and then cleanses, tones and moisturizes her face. This is followed by a gentle massage that stimulates cell growth.
  • Vitamin A cream: Aniston uses this on her face to keep her skin hydrated; it also improves her skin’s overall appearance.
  • Vitamin E cream: She applies the cream on her shins and elbows to keep them soft.
  • Makeup removal: Before bed Aniston takes off her makeup with gentle Aveeno products (which she endorses) and always makes sure to put on lip balm.
  • Eye drops: She suffers from allergies, so she loves to use eye drops to keep her eyes hydrated.
  • Eating organic: She ensures that her fruits and vegetables are from organic sources.
  • Sleep and water: She makes sure to get enough of both!
  • Occasional cheating: Aniston will only eat a cheat meal or foods higher in fat in the morning, which gives her body plenty of time to burn it off throughout the day.
